There are still six rounds to go before the end of the Formula 1 season, and teams are gradually transitioning to working with 2025 cars. Ferrari boss Frederic Vasseur said the team will bring this year’s latest technical updates to the SF-24 at the upcoming US Grand Prix in Austin.
Frederic Vasseur: “We have already started developing the car for next season. However, we will try to prepare small updates for the next phase. Most likely, this will be the last update of the season. Not only for us, but for all the teams.
The gaps in the top four teams are minimal. Let’s see if these new items have an impact anywhere.’
When assessing Ferrari’s performance in Singapore, Vasseur said: “I don’t want to blame anyone, but we need to be more focused and have a more consistent weekend. I think everyone will agree with me that once you make even the smallest mistake in practice, it becomes quite difficult to come back.
Sunday’s race was good. Charles and Carlos showed a lot of speed, although they were a bit reserved at the beginning, but we can be happy with the strategy and the management of the tyre wear in the last few stages. We now have a few weeks to prepare for the remaining six races.”
