Mick Schumacher has not started in Formula 1 since 2022, content with the role of reserve driver for Mercedes and participation in the WEC series for Alpine, but there is no certainty about the next season yet.
Speedweek writes that Mick avoided answering questions during the karting event in Kerpen, and when asked about next season, he explained: “There is no answer yet.”
Mick Schumacher: “The goal obviously remains the same, but there is a time factor. In Formula 1 it is important to be in the right place at the right time, and that is what I am striving for now.
When I took part in Formula 1, everything went wrong. That is why I prefer not to look at the past, but at the future, with the confidence that I have the right attitude, that I am in the right place.
I will come up with ‘Plan B’ when the time comes and if ‘Plan A’ doesn’t work. As I said, we are committed to making Plan A work and will do everything we can to make that happen.”
