The premature entry onto the track constitutes a serious breach of safety protocol on the part of the organizers of the Formula 1 stage. The promoters of the event were fined €500,000, of which €350,000 will be postponed until December 31, 2026, provided there are no further violations during FIA-sanctioned events at the Texas circuit.

Part of the fine is suspended because this is the first time such a safety violation has occurred at Austin Speedway.
