Ahead of the Sao Paulo Grand Prix, the FIA announced changes to the Brazilian circuit and DRS zones.
The asphalt surface has been completely renewed not only over the entire length of the circle, but also in the pit lane.
In turn 7, the grass on both sides of the track has been replaced by concrete. A new barrier has been installed on the left side between turns 13 and 14 to protect against flying debris, and the barrier between turns 14 and 1 has been completely replaced.
On the left side of Turn 7, the placement of the safety rail and tire barriers has been adjusted.
New gaps in the barriers have appeared in the departure zone of Turn 1, on the right side of Turn 15 and on the right side of the start-finish straight.
The two independent DRS zones remain the same. The point for measuring the interval between cars before the first is at the top of the second turn, and the activation point is thirty meters after the third.
The interval measuring point for the second DRS zone is located thirty meters after the 13th bend and the activation point is 160 meters before the 15th.
