The release of a special collection of dance music, called Senna Driven, coincided with the Grand Prix of Sao Paulo 2024, where Ayrton Senna’s voice can be heard in all compositions. Leading DJs of the world, including Armin van Buuren, used samples with fragments of various interviews of the great Brazilian racer when creating their new works.
The album Senna Driven is the result of joint efforts between Universal Music, Senna Brands and Bulldozer Network, in collaboration with famous DJs and music producers from different countries, and during the race weekend in Sao Paulo this music can already be heard on the Interlagos circuit and in clubs in Brazil.
A unique tribute to the three-time world champion became an original addition to the program of the Senna Semper campaign (“Senna Forever”), dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the tragic death of Ayrton Senna during the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix.
“Music is an incredibly powerful tool because it directly affects our emotions. That’s why we chose to convey a sense of inspiration and motivation,” says Bianca Senna, Ayrton Senna’s niece and CEO of Senna Brands. “That’s why a project like Senna Driven plays an important role in our mission to inspire people to push their boundaries and become better people.”
The album consists of 21 songs, all created by 33 artists from 13 different countries, and each dedicated to a specific chapter of his career in motorsports.
Senna Driven is now available on various streaming services and is also available on limited edition vinyl.
