Pilot Robert Schwartzman will finally break relations with the team “Ferrari ” said Antonello Coletta, head of endurance racing at Ferrari.
Schwartzman will no longer compete for Italian team AF Corse in the WEC as he wishes to continue his career in IndyCar. Presumably the driver will compete for Prema Racing.
“He decided to make a different choice, but we respect him a lot,” Coletta said according to Sportscar365.
Previously, Shvartsman performed under the Russian flag as a test driver for Ferrari in Formula 1. Since 2022, the racer continues his career under Israeli license.
In October, Schwartzman led a practice session for Kick-Sauber at the Formula 1 Mexican Grand Prix.
