Austin US Grand Prix promoter Bobby Epstein is happy with ticket sales for the October 23 stage – there are almost no tickets left a month and a half before the race, so there could be even more spectators than last year.
Bobby Epstein: “Sold if not all, then almost all tickets. In addition, most tickets were obtained in the spring, in the first days of the sale. That was incredible!
A new road to the autodrome is ready for use, which we really needed. It is important to us that people enjoy their trip to us, we do everything possible for this. We have no control over what happens on the track, but we create the entertainment program ourselves and believe we can make it even better. We will focus on that in the coming years.
The popularity of Formula 1 is growing, now the United States will be able to host three races and even more. I believe our stage will continue to be a favorite of fans who love festivals and are not willing to pay too much. We are organizing a high class show, but it will remain accessible to regular fans.
The race in Vegas is held at night under the spotlight – this is a very different show and Miami is a multinational city where the podium takes place at a different time of the year. There are plenty of fans in the US who are interested in Formula 1.”
