Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton took the wheel of the McLaren team car for the 1990 season, during which Ayrton Senna wins his second championship title.
A video of the race at the Sao Paulo autodrome was published by the Formula 1 press service. The event was organized in memory of the Brazilian pilot, whose life was claimed by an accident that occurred on 1 May 1994 at Imola during the San Marino Grand Prix. Senna won three championship titles during his Formula 1 career.
Hamilton is an honorary citizen of Brazil and considers Ayrton his sporting idol.
Sunday’s race in Brazil will start at 6:30 p.m. Moscow time. Lando Norris, current driver of the McLaren team, will start from the first position.
