Formula E: Abbie Pulling is the fastest driver

Today at the Spanish circuit in Jarama ended the three-day pre-season tests of Formula E, which differed from similar events that took place in previous years not only in their location.

On Friday afternoon, the cars of the electric series teams were driven exclusively by female racers on the track for the first time in history, and Abby Pulling, working with the Nissan Formula E Team, showed the best time in the tests.

21-year-old Abby has once again proven her speed as she topped the podium in the W Series and is now a confident leader in the F1 Academy Women’s Championship. Today she was ahead of even such an experienced professional racer as Jamie Chadwick (Jaguar), who showed the second result, and Bianca Bustamante, a participant in the McLaren youth program, completed the top three.

All test participants drove electric racing cars of the GEN3 Evo generation for the first time, and on an unknown circuit. But everyone managed somehow, although the difference in results was quite noticeable: Abby Pulling completed her best lap 4.256 seconds faster than Simone de Silvestro, driving the car of the American team Kiro (formerly the Chinese ERT) .

For comparison, we can give the following example: Mitch Evans, who showed the best test time, was only 0.874 seconds ahead of their slowest competitor, Nyck de Vries, a driver from the Indian Mahindra team.
