F2: Richard Ferschor returns to MP Motorosport

MP Motorsport has announced that Richard Ferschor will drive one of its cars in the remaining races of the season and will also compete in 2025. The Dutchman replaces Dennis Hauger, who continues his career abroad in the youth series Indy NXT.

Verschoor has extensive experience working with MP Motorsport: he drove for the team from the Netherlands in Formula Renault, in the GP3 series, in F3, including winning the Macau Grand Prix in 2018, and also made his F2 debut in 2021.

Richard Ferschor: “The contract with MP, which keeps me in Formula 2, is like coming home. I have spent half of my motorsport career with this team and it is very important to me that we continue our partnership in 2025, as well as the last two rounds of the season in Losail and Yas Marina.

During our collaboration we have achieved success in F4, F3 and F2, including winning the legendary race in Macau. I am already looking forward to going to Qatar, where my collaboration with this team will begin again.”

Verschor’s partner at MP Motorsport will be Oliver Goethe, who in turn replaced Franco Colapinto, who moved to Formula 1 and now drives for Williams.
