Athletistic/Formula 1. 27-year-old Dutch driver and three-time Formula 1 champion Max Verstappen of the Red Bull team received a five-place grid penalty for the main race of the Brazilian Grand Prix due to a power unit change.
For Verstappen, the new power unit will be the sixth this season, while according to the regulations only four are allowed. Additionally, Max will also have his car’s exhaust system replaced, but this will only be the second of eight exhausts allowed in a season, the FIA said.
