Mick Schumacher published an intriguing statement on his social media pages, the essence of which was him thanking the fans for their support even during difficult periods of his career.
Let us remind you that nothing is yet known about the future plans of the son of the seven-time world champion, and one can only speculate about what he will do in 2025. Here is the full text of his brief statement, in white letters on a black background:
“Life doesn’t always go as planned, and dealing with setbacks can be difficult. But every challenge is an opportunity to learn and grow, and you’ll come back even stronger. This is just one chapter, but not the whole story.
I am determined to overcome everything and continue my path. Thank you for all your support, it means a lot to me.”
Last season Schumacher Jr. worked as a reserve driver for the Mercedes team and combined this work with performances for Alpine in the WEC. He was keen to return to Formula 1, negotiating with several teams, including to be considered for a place in the works teams of Renault and Audi/Sauber, but ultimately these vacancies went to other drivers.
It was rumored that he was not averse to joining the Ferrari factory team in endurance racing, but Maranello abandoned the idea of continuing the business partnership with Mick, who had once trained at the Ferrari Racing Academy renew.
All that remains now is to wait for some clarification from Mick on what his statement means today, in a somewhat modest tone, and what specific test he must now overcome.
