With certain results from the Las Vegas Grand Prix, Lando Norris may lose his mathematical chances of winning the title. However, the McLaren driver is determined to do everything he can to ensure that the fight in the individual championship continues after the finish of the night race.
Lando Norris: “It was great to be back at the base with the team for the last three races of the year. Together with my engineers, I spent time preparing in the simulator. Everyone is motivated and ready to give the best of themselves, both in the individual competition and in the constructors’ championship.
In Las Vegas we will perform under the lights. Driving the Las Vegas Strip is really cool, and I’m looking forward to racing the MCL38 at this track. This year we have a good car, but our competitors are incredibly strong. I can’t wait to see what results we get this weekend.”
Oscar Piastri: “I’m looking forward to a trip to Las Vegas, where an important stage series starts. We are working hard to maintain our lead in the Constructors’ Championship and end the season with a high result.
The aim is to continue attacking and achieve more wins and podiums before the end of the season. It takes hard work and determination from the team and I am incredibly motivated to achieve success at the end of the season.”
Andrea Stellateam leader: “After intensive construction phases, we are going to Las Vegas, where the first race of the definitively built series will take place. We are facing one of the most difficult weekends in terms of work schedule. As expected, the opposition remains competitive, but we have a fast car and a strong team that has worked hard all year to achieve a high position.
The season has proven incredibly difficult for everyone and now we need to make the final push. We stay focused because the hard work is not over yet. Every point is important and the team is motivated to drive a good race and provide the drivers with the best car.”
