Before the Las Vegas Grand Prix, Mercedes boss Toto Wolff said what the team expected from the upcoming night stage on the city circuit.
Toto Wolff: “We’re going to Las Vegas, ready for the last three races of the season. We are focused on ending this year in the best possible way and adding even more memorable moments. We are ready for the upcoming races that will complete our incredible partnership with Lewis Hamilton and want to gain momentum for 2025.
We are happy to be back in Las Vegas. Formula 1 put on an incredible show last year and the sight of the cars zooming down the Las Vegas Strip was one of the highlights of the season. And I couldn’t refuse the opportunity to drive a Mercedes-AMG GT R on such a circuit at a speed of 290 km/h. It was an experience that I and our partners, I hope, will not forget.
The circuit itself and the conditions provided an interesting challenge for the drivers and teams, and the Grand Prix proved exciting and interesting. “I am confident that this year’s race will be an even greater success, building on the continued growth in interest and success of Formula 1 in the US.”
