Max Verstappen: It’s great that we have regained our old form

In Sao Paulo, Max Verstappen achieved his first victory in four months. The Red Bull Racing driver expects the team to show the same form at the Grand Prix of Las Vegas.

Max Verstappen: “The race in Brazil was incredible for us – it was a special moment for me and the team. It’s nice that we have our old shape back. The team has done a great job and we hope to continue in the same vein in the next races.

The final series of the season starts in Las Vegas, so everyone will have to push one last time. We performed well on this circuit last year. It is very fast with very long straights, so there are opportunities to overtake and fight.

Low temperatures are expected again, so everything will come down to working with the tires. We are taking a one-race-at-a-time approach as we look towards the final Grands Prix of the season.”

Sergio Perez: “The team has a very important weekend ahead of it in Las Vegas. Last year there were many unknowns in this race: a new stage, new asphalt and temperatures in which we normally do not participate. In 2023 we had almost no data, but this year the team is approaching the podium on the city circuit with much more information and understanding.

Personally, I like the circuit because it is urban. The walls are close and there’s nothing like driving a car on the Las Vegas Strip or next to the Sphere towering above you.

The fans at the track and at home are in for a spectacular race and I know I have to give it my all and get the most out of the car. I have worked a lot with the team and in Sao Paulo I looked more competitive than we could show, so now we will try to bring everything together in the last three Grands Prix.”
