Carlos Sainz got the bike of his dreams

Carlos Sainz, like all Formula 1 drivers, pays a lot of attention to good physical training, including regular cycling training.

He may not be as good as Valtteri Bottas in this regard, as the Finn already competes in gravel cycling races at international level, but there is no doubt that Carlos is also a very prepared and trained cyclist.

Of course, he needs the right bike, and recently Sainz received a new two-wheeled sports equipment, in a special way, as they say, “customized”, taking into account his needs.

“This year I cycled more than usual. This helps with my training, and overall it’s a great way to clear my thoughts as it’s been a very busy year.

To keep my motivation high, my friends at Iamspecialized surprised me by preparing a very impressive special bike for me!” – Carlos boasted on social networks and even posted a separate video dedicated to the new product on his YouTube channel.

The number 55 is on the wheels of the bike, and on the frame, made of carbon, there is the inscription Smooth Operator – for some this is the name of the famous hit of the British singer Sade, but fans of Carlos de Ferrari know this driver has this nickname in the paddock.

However, the point is not in these external details, although they are also interesting in their own way. The main features of the bicycle are different. Suffice it to say that before starting work, the masters of this Spanish company took the most detailed anthropometric indicators of their customer, calculated everything on a computer using a special program, and after several months of work they got a bicycle with which Carlos train with maximum efficiency.

Regarding the exterior of his new two-wheeler, Carlos emphasized that he asked the bicycle designers to make their product look as stylish as his favorite sports car, the Ferrari 812 Competizione. Because the customer’s wish is the law, the bicycle looks very modern and stylish.

As the racer said, “It’s so cool you’ll want to hang it on the wall at home and admire it!”

Of course, he didn’t do this, but immediately started training with his friends on a new bike. It should be added that such two-wheeled vehicles are, as a rule, owned only by professional cyclists competing at the Olympic level.
