After five accidents in the last Grand Prix, the Williams team found itself in a difficult situation, but still brought both cars to Las Vegas. The riders hope to meet the team with good results…
Alex Albon: “The last three weeks have been difficult for the team, but there are also positive aspects that we can transfer from Brazil to the remaining races, starting with Vegas.
We have an incredible opportunity to get back into contention, having recovered from one of the most difficult weekends for Williams in my time with the team. We can show the world and our rivals the strength of our team, to show what we are capable of, not only in the three remaining races, but also in the future.
I am more motivated and energetic than ever and I want to reward the team’s hard work with a good result.”
Franco Colapinto: “The Brazilian stage proved difficult for the team, but that happens in motorsport. Last weekend’s experience will help me as a driver and as a person. Now it’s time to show our resilience and continue the battle in the last three races of the season.
All employees at the base did everything they could to bring the season to a successful conclusion. I have only completed six races, but I have confidence in myself and I trust the team and the people around me. There are three more stages until the end of the season, three chances to earn points. We will fight until the finish in Abu Dhabi, because everything is still possible.”
