During the break between the races in Sao Paulo and Las Vegas, Aston Martin announced the resignation of Dan Fallows as the team’s technical director. On Thursday in Las Vegas, Fernando Alonso commented on the changes in the team.
Fernando Alonso: “Our team always looks to the future. We will have a number of very good specialists joining us in the foreseeable future, so such changes are part of this process.
I will support whatever decision our bosses make. The team has high ambitions – we aim to win races and titles in the future, and we want to shorten the time until such results become possible as much as possible. I hope we will be more competitive in 2025.”
Speaking about Aston Martin’s prospects in Las Vegas, Fernando said: “Las Vegas has a difficult track, reminiscent of Baku: fast and urban. The walls are close and the braking performance of the car is very important. It’s easy to make a mistake here, but you should try to avoid it and find your rhythm. We are certainly going to have an interesting weekend. We have not earned points for several Grands Prix, but it is time to change that.”
