Verstappen: “I never thought I could become four-time Formula 1 champion”

Verstappen took fifth place on Saturday at the Las Vegas Grand Prix and became the 2024 season champion sooner than expected.

But we remained united as a team. We kept working on improvements and we got there. I am incredibly proud of everyone and what they have done for me.

He also indicated that he intends to compete for the title next season.

— What can I tell the team? We’ve been through a lot together, and all these heights that we’re reaching right now, it’s very important to do it with this whole group of people. They always give everything to give me the car and fight for the title.
