Formula 1 and General Motors have announced that they have reached an “agreement in principle” on the Cadillac brand joining as the eleventh team in 2026.

General Motors and their partners are making significant progress in their preparations for Formula 1 and we are pleased that they are ready to bid for the GM/Cadillac team in the championship in 2026.”
