Williams Racing Academy member Luke Browning will make his Formula 1 debut during the official race weekend. The Brit will participate in the first free practice of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix with a Williams. In addition, Browning, as part of the Grove team, will spend a day at the youth tests at the Yas Marina circuit after the season.
In 2024, Luke Browning competed in Formula 3, achieving two victories and taking third place in the individual competition. Luke made his Formula 2 debut in the Baku stage.
Luke Browning: “It is a great honor for me to drive a Williams car for the first time in Abu Dhabi. It’s just incredible that I can work not only in the youth tests, but also in the free races.
I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone at Williams for their support and development within the Racing Academy and for entrusting me with the FW46. I will work hard to prepare and make the most of this opportunity.”
