Another McLaren driver finished second. Lando Norris (+0.136), winner of the sprint qualification. The top three was completed by Mercedes’ George Russell (+0.410).
Season Winner Max Verstappen (Red Bull) finished eighth (+10.368).
Qualifying for the main race will take place later on Saturday in Doha.
