Team “Alpine” intends to part ways with the French pilot Esteban Ocon without waiting for the end of the current Formula 1 championship.

Free testing will begin on December 6 in Abu Dhabi and on December 8 the final, 24th stage of the Formula 1 season will take place there.
Ocon ranks 14th in the season standings with 23 points. On December 1, at the Qatar Grand Prix, he retired on the first lap after colliding with Williams’ Franco Colapinto during the start race.
