The upcoming round is the last for Nico Hulkenberg and Kevin Magnussen in Haas F1, and they’re keen to go out in style…
Ayo Komatsuteam manager: “We are looking forward to the end of the season in Abu Dhabi, where we have something to fight for.
The circuit is very slippery and consists of slow and medium corners, which turn into two long straights – when setting up the car we will have to solve completely different problems than in the previous two stages. We will try to score points with two cars to maximize our chances of sixth place in the Constructors’ Championship.”
Nico Hulkenberg: “We still have one round to go with Haas F1, and that will of course be special. We will do everything we can to make this adventure at the highest level.”
Kevin Magnussen: “In my last race with Haas F1 I hope for a great result. Of course we dream of returning after the defeat against Alpine in Qatar. We are five points behind and have to give everything to take the lead.
“Abu Dhabi is always a great race, it’s the finale of the season, there’s always a lot of hype around it and I’m hoping for a good weekend.”
