In 2019, Lewis Hamilton launched Neat Burger, an international restaurant chain that serves vegan burgers and other plant-based meats.
On Thursday, April 28, the start of the next investment round was announced, which aims to raise $30 million to expand the restaurant chain. Among those who have already earmarked money for the development of Neat Burger was the famous Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio. The Oscar winner became a “strategic investor” in the company.
Neat Burger currently has eight restaurants in London. The aim is to open 12 restaurants in New York by the end of the year. The company is already looking for space to rent in the Soho, Bryant Park and Midtown Manhattan areas.
By the end of 2022, the total number of Neat Burger locations in the world should grow to 42, including in the Middle East and Italy. Restaurants will open in Miami, Austin and Los Angeles next year. By 2030, the total number of restaurants in North America should grow to 1,000.
