Ralph Boschung believes the neck injury that forced him to miss 12 F2 races this year is much less of a concern to him, so the Swiss plans to return to the Campos Racing car already at Spa.
Notably in the previous three stages in Austria, France and Hungary, he was replaced by Roberto Meri, but the Spaniard should be performing in the Japanese Super GT body series this weekend, so Boschung decided to take a chance.
“I’ll be back and it’s great,” Ralph noted. – It was the most difficult time of my career, but I am happy that I will try again in Spa to get to the start of the race. Of course I understand that once I start the job the neck can react, but I have an optimistic attitude. Campos Racing deserves good results – at the level of what we showed at the start of the season, and I will do my best to achieve this.
Boschung’s teammate in Belgium is Lirim Zendeli, as Oliver Caldwell scored 12 penalty points and was suspended for one race.
