Audi intends to announce the acquisition of Sauber in the near future, according to Autosport.
According to the source, Audi will acquire a 75% stake in the company, and the deal will amount to $450 million. The deal is expected to be announced as part of the Belgian Grand Prix.
Sauber owns the Alfa Romeo Formula 1 team. Audi also negotiated the acquisition of McLaren, but they reached an impasse.
The Belgian Grand Prix will take place from August 26 to 28.
