Formula 1 team “McLaren » reached an agreement on the early termination of the agreement with the pilot Daniel Ricardo .
The contract with the 33-year-old Australian was calculated until the end of the 2023 season, but the driver will leave the team at the end of the 2022 championship.

Last season Ricciardo finished eighth in the Formula 1 drivers’ standings. This year he scored 19 points and is 12th, his British teammate Lando Norris (76) is seventh. According to the media, the main candidate to replace Ricciardo at McLaren is another Australian, Oscar Piastri.
Previously, Ricciardo played in the Royal Races for Red Bull, Toro Rosso, Aston Martin, Renault and finished third twice at the end of the season.
