Cregan: I always believe in the people I work with

Richard Cregan is an experienced manager who is usually asked to lead the most difficult projects when new races appear in the World Championship. In particular, he once successfully passed the “commissioning” period in Abu Dhabi and then Sochi, and last summer he was named Executive Director of the Miami Grand Prix.

“My job is actually to implement the ideas of Tom Garfinkle, the managing partner of the Miami Grand Prix,” Cregan said. – I always believe in the people I work with, treat them with respect and try to learn from them. When I first met Tom, I knew right away that this man still had a lot to learn.

Also here in Miami is the Hard Rock Stadium complex, which runs like a well-oiled and well-oiled machine, and it’s all done by a great team of specialists. My main task is to create the conditions in which these people can really open up, to use all their capacities as efficiently as possible.

They know what they’re talking about, but they need guidance, they need help and support, they need to be connected and connected – this is my role, and all of this we do together with my management team and everyone else who is at the Hard Rock Stage work.

In my life I’ve always been attracted to different cultures and what happens at their intersection – that’s what I love about Miami. It seems to me that we should stick to such a model, but at the same time try to develop and improve it on a daily basis.

Everything we do should be aimed at developing these values, we should try to unite people, make sure that everyone has a sense of equality, that everyone has equal opportunities. This is an important part of my job. By participating in this project, I contribute to the common goal.”
