Haas F1 was pleased with the technical innovations tested in Hungary with Kevin Magnussen’s car, but the US team brought two improved aerodynamic body kits to Belgium, which both drivers will receive this weekend.
“We found that the calculations made during the wind tunnel studies matched the data obtained on the track, which is always very good,” Mick told the press in Spa. “This will help us a lot, because in Hungary the team was happy with how the new products work, and we can hope that they will give us an advantage over our rivals in Spa.”
The seven-time world champion’s son was also asked if he had any recent talks with Haas F1 management about a contract for next year.
“In August there was a mandatory two-week break when the team’s base was closed, and I didn’t want to disturb anyone – everyone has the right to rest,” replied Mick. “But I can say I love Haas, I’m happy with everything and will do everything I can to get the best possible results. And everything else will follow, I have no doubt.”
