Le Mans: full entry list published

The French motoring club ACO, the organizer of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, has published the complete list of participants in the marathon, which will be held on June 11-12 this year.

In total, it has 65 crews of four different classes – however, four appear in the reserve – in which 186 riders are declared. At the same time, Kevin Magnussen is one of the reserve teams – this is a trio from the Danish High Class Racing team. Of course, the list has not been adjusted after his return to Formula 1, because Kevin will drive the Azerbaijan Grand Prix for Haas F1 on the second weekend of June.

The start of the legendary race, held this year on the occasion of its 90th anniversary, will feature five sporty prototypes of the most powerful Hypercar category – these are two cars from the Toyota factory team with hybrid power plants, an Alpine A480 sports prototype and two American Glickenhaus 007 LMH.

But in the LMP2 class, where 27 crews are on the list, there are some changes. The most curious change can be considered the appearance of Williams reserve driver Jack Aitken in the Algarve Pro Racing team: the 26-year-old Briton makes his Le Mans debut in the same crew with Sophia Flörsch and John Falb.

There will be 53 debutants at Le Mans this year, in addition to Aitken, among them we see names such as eight-time World Rally Champion Sebastien Ogier, former Formula 1 driver Esteban Gutierrez, representative of the Brazilian racing dynasty and Haas F1 reserve driver Pietro Fittipaldi, as well as Catharina legg. The 41-year-old Briton has extensive experience in endurance racing, but has never competed in Le Mans before.

It is also worth mentioning that Robert Kubica will participate for the second time in the marathon at the Sarte circuit, which will race this year in the LMP2 class for the Prema Orlen Team in the same crew with Louis Deletraz and Lorenzo Colombo.
