On Friday, Haas F1 was not without reliability issues – in the first session Kevin Magnussen’s car stopped due to an ERS failure, but he did not lose much time…
Kevin Magnussen (17th): “In the first session I had to stop on track due to problems with the car, but at the start of the second practice the team changed everything and there were no more difficulties.
In the second session we worked out the program normally with a small amount of fuel, but we couldn’t do a long series of laps because of the rain, so there are questions about how the car works with full tanks. In the evening we will analyze everything to get more speed out of the car tomorrow.”
Mick Schumacher (20th): “In varying conditions it is difficult to judge the effectiveness of new products, the conditions and the track are completely different here than in Budapest, so it is not easy to compare the two cars, but the feeling is positive .
Friday I was working on a different program than Kevin, but the day turned out to be worth it, I loved every minute on the track and look forward to tomorrow.”
