Kimi Raikkonen prepares her shift

Kimi Raikkonen has repeatedly said in an interview that he is not going to impose anything on children, but if they like motorsport, he is always ready to create the conditions for them to do this interesting business.

Here’s an example of one such statement from the 2007 World Champion: “The most important thing is that the kids enjoy karting as a hobby. And we’ll see what comes of it.”

His son Robin turned seven this year and Kimi bought him a small kart a few years ago, but now it’s time to help his daughter Rihanna master racing technique.

Last summer, Kimi said, “If kids ask me to take them to the go-kart track, I do. Robin rides alone, Rihanna says she wants to try it too – I put her on my knees and drive. She loves”.

And a few days ago, Kimi’s wife, Minttu Raikkonen, shared photos on social networks, where we see the already cheerful Rihanna, who will be five in May, driving a kiddie kart.

Apparently she really likes everything. Two points are noteworthy: the name of her father, until recently one of the most popular racers in the world, is already on the girl’s overalls, and on the card we see number 7 – under this number Kimi participated in Formula 1. from 2014 to the end of his career.

At one point, Raikkonen said that when he retired from Formula 1, he wouldn’t be particularly bored, as he would have the opportunity to interact more with his family – this is exactly what Kimi is doing now. Granted, this year he became the head of the factory Kawasaki Racing Team, which competed in the Motocross World Championship, but apparently this track doesn’t take as much time as his previous occupation.
