Gunther Steiner: The result was predictable

With the updated car, the Haas F1 was unable to earn points in the Spa…

Gunther Steiner, Team Principal: “I am disappointed with today’s result, but it was predictable. On the fast track, where you need low air resistance, our car is not good enough this year. We will try to rectify the situation next week in Zandvoort, where the track is more suitable for our car.”

Kevin Magnussen (16th): “We knew we would be behind this weekend. These kind of tracks don’t suit us at all. We did our best, but the car lacked speed.

Overall, not the best weekend, but we’ve gathered information that will help us in the future. I’m looking forward to the next race.”

Mick Schumacher (17th): “It was a shame to see the cars of rivals, especially after the safety car started. Compared to them, we lacked maximum speed. On the other hand, it’s great to be here and perform in front of such an audience, including Germans.

Our problems this week are related to the characteristics of the track, but in Zandvoort we will be able to better assess the effect of the car update as this track is more like the Hungarian track – and we have to fight for points again.
