Verstappen wins Belgian Formula 1 Grand Prix after starting 14th

Dutch driver “Red Bull” Max Verstappen won the Belgian Formula 1 Grand Prix.

Verstappen started the race from 14th position after an engine change penalty. Second place was taken by his Mexican teammate Sergio Perez . He was 17.841 seconds behind the reigning world champion.

Third place goes to the Spaniard carlos sainz (“Ferrari”).

Mercedes driver Lewis Hamilton and Alfa Romeo driver Valtteri Bottas crashed shortly after the start of the race and retired from the race.

Ferrari driver Charles Leclerc exceeded the speed limit on the penultimate lap during a pit stop and was penalized five seconds. He lost a position and became the sixth in the final protocol.

The next race weekend will be in the Netherlands from September 2-4.
