“Obviously it was my fault. But it happens, it’s racing.
I gave everything to pass him on the outside at turn five. I just didn’t leave enough space for it and paid the price. So yeah, it was unintentional,” Hamilton said, citing Autosport.
The Briton had to retire due to technical issues, while the Spaniard continued the race.
