Hamilton and Bottas crash at the Belgian Grand Prix and abandon the race

At the start of the Belgian Grand Prix, two accidents occurred – between the cars of the drivers “mercedes » Lewis Hamilton and alpine runner Fernando Alonso as well as the representative of “Alfa Romeo” Valtteri Bottas and Nicholas Latifi of Williams.

Hamilton’s car bounced after contact with Alonso’s car, the Mercedes driver slowed down, he had to stop. Later, it turned out that this led to the gathering of the seven-time world champion.

Latifi ran wide onto the pavement, lost control of the car and hit Bottas, who was trying to dodge the Williams. Finn found himself in the gravel and was forced to end the race.

A safety car appeared on the track for a moment. Soon the race continued as usual.

The race takes place on the Spa-Francorchamps circuit.
