At Spa, Alex Albon scored one point for Williams, but the team understands that repeating this success at Zandvoort will not be easy…
Alex Albon: “We had a successful weekend at Spa, but Zandvoort is a completely different circuit, where you need a lot of downforce and it is difficult to overtake. A lot will be decided on Saturday and while we want to repeat the success in Spa, it will be more difficult here to do that.
I haven’t raced this track since 2015, I will try to make the best of Friday and Saturday to study the track and see what we can claim this weekend. ”
Nicholas Latific: “I am very happy to come to Zandvoort for the second leg of a series of three races in a row. It was fun trying this old school track last year, qualifying turned out to be especially fun – this round has it all – both fast and contoured corners, the narrow track forgives no mistakes.
A year ago the fans created a unique atmosphere and I’m sure it will be like that now.”
