The race at Zandvoort was not without its problems for Haas F1 – Kevin Magnussen went off the track and rolled backwards, and Mick Schumacher had a pit stop failure…
Mick Schumacher (13th): “Help in the pit stop, when the front jack didn’t go down didn’t allow me to compete for points. I had a lot of fun, though, fighting for position with Sebastian – it’s always great. Sometimes failures happen, I will try to earn points in the next races.
Kevin Magnussen (15th): “If you hit a wall during a race, it’s not very good, but it was my fault. I exaggerated the attack, lost control of the rear of the car, flew off the track, hit the guardrail, but then I was able to turn back and continue the fight.
I did everything I could to earn myself back, in the end I finished 15th. The weekend brought no results, but I hope we will perform better next time.
