On the eve of the Italian Grand Prix, the Ferrari team presented an unusual version of the uniform: yellow T-shirts. According to Gazzetta dello Sport, it was no accident that the traditional red was changed to Scuderia: yellow is the heraldic color of Modena, the city where Enzo Ferrari, the founder of the company that is now world famous, was born.
In addition, this year marks the 100th anniversary of the Autodromo Nazionale in Monza, and the upcoming race weekend promises to be even brighter than usual, and fans will remember it too thanks to Ferrari’s spectacular color scheme.
But in the history of the Italian team, there have been periods when the employees wore yellow uniforms during races – this was the case, for example, in the 80s and 90s.
The yellow T-shirts that everyone saw today on Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will be released in a limited edition and will certainly be of interest to collectors and regular fans, as they have, among other things, an anniversary logo in honor of the 75th anniversary of the legendary brand. On March 12, 1947, Enzo Ferrari personally drove out of the gates of a small factory in Modena in a Ferrari 125, the first car to bear this name.
