24 races are included in the preliminary Formula 1 calendar for the 2023 season, according to Bild.
According to the publication, the final calendar has not yet been approved by the FIA World Council. The question of holding the Chinese Grand Prix is also open, the country having strict restrictions in connection with the coronavirus pandemic.
The start of the season is scheduled in Bahrain. The Las Vegas Grand Prix will be the penultimate stage of next season. Previous media reported that in 2023, the French Grand Prix and the Belgian Grand Prix will lose their place in the calendar. However, the stage in Belgium can be saved for another year if the organizers of the South African Grand Prix do not have time to prepare the track for the coming season.
This season there are 22 Grand Prix stages in the series calendar. The overall leader is reigning world champion Max Verstappen.
