Aston Martin F1 drivers shared their expectations for the upcoming Miami Grand Prix, noting that they don’t have much information about the new circuit yet.
Sebastian Vettel: “It’s great to have a city circuit back on the championship calendar and the ring in Miami looks really interesting.
From what I understood while working on the simulator, there are quite difficult turns. The 13-16 turns have a surprisingly noticeable height difference that can provoke mistakes, and there are also long straights where overtaking with DRS is possible.
So far, in preparation for the stage, I’ve only been able to understand this and now I’m looking forward to the first encounter with the real circuit.
Lance walk: “The rise of Formula 1 in America is very encouraging, especially as we will be racing in Miami, as this city claims to be one of the coolest in the US.
The first race on a new track is always very interesting. So far we have quite scarce information at our disposal, and it will be necessary to get used to the circuit in a very short time and to find the right speed. There is a lot of work ahead of us, but in the end we will see a great show that Formula 1 will put on in Miami.”
