At Sunday’s race at Monza, Daniel Ricciardo will wear a specially designed helmet in honor of MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi. When designing the helmet, Daniel was inspired by the helmet design used by the Italian motorcycle racer during the Mugello race in 2008 – in that race Valentino put his picture on the helmet.
“Today is race day in Monza and I have prepared a special helmet design in honor of the Italian legend, the one and only Valentino Rossi,” Daniel commented on the new helmet design. – You may remember he used a similar helmet design in Mugello in 2008, if I’m not mistaken. I don’t know if I’m as handsome as Valentino, but I sure look funny.
I start fourth, which inspires me. I hope that after crossing the finish line my face will actually look exactly the same as it does on the helmet.
