Williams Albon driver to miss qualifying and Italian Grand Prix due to appendicitis, de Vries to replace him

thai runner “Williams” Alexander Albon will miss the rest of the Italian Grand Prix at Monza, according to the team’s press service.

The pilot complained of being unwell on Saturday morning, after contacting a local hospital he was diagnosed with appendicitis. For the third practice, qualifying and race in Italy, Albon, 26, will be replaced by reserve driver Nick de Vries from the Netherlands.

The other driver on the team is a Canadian driver Nicolas Lafi .
