“I agree that if I’m not on the grid next year, it’s only fair. I’m not going to do everything, or my team is not going to do everything to get me on the grid if I don’t deserve it.” If I end up on the track, I have to be sure that it’s deserved. I want to grow and progress, and not run just to compete,” said Ricciardo.
Daniel Ricciardo’s greatest achievement in Formula 1 is his third place in the 2014 and 2016 seasons, when the driver was still representing the Red Bull team. Ricciardo has been at McLaren since 2021. In the first season in this team, he finished 8th overall.
After sixteen Grands Prix of the 2022 season, Daniel Ricciardo is in 14th place in the general driver classification, with 19 points to his credit.
