In recent months there has been active talk in Formula 1 about the fate of the race in Monaco, but according to Racingnews365 the promoters of the stage and the owners of the championship have reached a new agreement and the race remains on the calendar. The stage is scheduled for May 25-28, 2023.
Under the new contract, the Monaco Grand Prix organizers will no longer independently broadcast TV and advertise on the track as they see fit – this has led to surprising crossroads in recent years, when the banners of their direct competitors from TAG side by side with the advertising of official Formula 1 partner Rolex Heuer, who paid the accommodation to the race organizers.
The ban on their advertising led the promoters of the Monaco Grand Prix to raise ticket prices by as much as 30%. If fans were offered two ticket categories Silver and Gold in previous years, only the more expensive category will go on sale in 2023.
For example, the cost of tickets for three days for the Casino stage in the fourth inning will rise to 1,400 euros against 1050 euros in 2022. The price of the cheapest ticket to the main grandstand for three days will be 700 euros. The cost of a day ticket on Friday will increase from 110 to 150 euros.
