On the eve of the very first Miami Grand Prix, the AlphaTauri team staged a cultural project with local artist Remote (Jay Bellicci). The artist had the opportunity to graffiti the Italian team’s show car, which will be on display at the Red Bull Energy Station during the race weekend.
The cars of Pierre Gasly and Yuki Tsunoda remain on the podium in traditional colors, except for one detail: the headrest is painted in the colors of the show car. In addition, Bellicci designed Yuki Tsunoda’s helmet in similar colors, in which the Japanese rider will compete this weekend.
Yuki Tsunoda: “I am very grateful for the helmet design Jay created for me. Just saw it live today and the helmet looks really cool. I can’t wait to take it to the track.”
Tsunoda and Gasley tried, among other things, to paint racing helmets themselves, which will be auctioned to raise money for the needs of the Wings For Life Foundation. In addition, these helmets are digitized in NFT and digital copies can be purchased on the AlphaTauri website.
