Athletistic/ Formula 1. “Haas” has decided not to renew the agreement with Mick Schumacher for next season, informs the Daily Mail.
The contract with the German driver expires in December 2022.
According to the source, Haas chief Gunther Steiner believes the 23-year-old son of legendary seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher does not meet the requirements for him.
It is reported that in place of Mick, the team signed fellow countryman Nico Hulkenberg.
Schumacher is currently 15th in the overall Formula 1 driver standings.
