Red Bull Racing announced the extension of its partnership with Swiss bicycle manufacturer BMC Switzerland, which has been given the status of official partner of the team. The parties started collaborating in 2018, when Red Bull Advanced Technologies engineers participated in the development of new bicycle models.
As part of a new multi-year contract, BMC Switzerland will supply bikes to the Formula 1 team, with Max Verstappen and Sergio Pérez participating in joint promotional activities.
Christian Horner, Head of Red Bull Racing: “The new agreement takes our already successful partnership to a new level. We have been working closely with BMC for four years now and the application of Formula 1 technology to cycling has produced astonishing results.
We are building on this success to conclude a new agreement that will increase visibility, increase interaction and unite cycling and motorsport fans.”
