Williams has announced that they will end their partnership with Nicholas Latifi after the end of the 2022 season. The name of the new partner Alex Albon will be announced later.
Nicholas Latific“I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone at Williams Racing – the base and track staff I’ve worked with over the past three years.
My Formula 1 debut was delayed by the pandemic, but in the end we went to Austria. Although we didn’t get the results we were hoping for, we had a fantastic partnership. I will never forget the first points I earned in Hungary last year.
I am preparing for a new chapter in my career with special memories of my time with this dedicated team. I know that everyone will continue to work with maximum efficiency until the end of the season.
Jost Capito, Team Principal: “On behalf of the entire team, I would like to say a huge thank you to Nicholas for three years of hard work with Williams. He is an excellent team player who treated his colleagues well, and they love and respect him.
The time we spent together is coming to an end, but I know he will do everything he can to reach the maximum before the end of the season. We wish Nicholas all the best for the future, both on and off the track.”
